Postdoctoral Research Associate
My research interests are in Artificial Intelligence (AI), Natural Language Processing (NLP), Information Retrieval (IR), Knowledge Discovery from Data (KDD), and Visual Text Analytics. Specifically, I am interested in unsupervised methods in NLP that can compete with supervised methods. In that perspective, I am currently working on the following problems:
(1) Word Relatedness/Similarity, Text Relatedness/Similarity, and Document Relatedness/Similarity,
(2) Text Error Detection and Correction,
(3) Automatically Building Emotion Lexicon.
