PhD Student
I am a member of Visual Text Analytics Group in Dalhousie University. My research interests are in Natural Language Processing (NLP), Knowledge Discovery from Big Data, Parallel Computing and Visual Text Analytics. Principally I focus on two phases in my research. In the first phase, I develop an algorithm for a particular NLP problem. In the second phase, I adopt parallel computing in order to make my algorithm usable through User Interface.
I finished Master in Computer Science in August 2014. My Thesis title was Text Relatedness using Word and Phrase Relatedness, available in the Dalhousie Repository (http://dalspace.library.dal.ca//handle/10222/54044).
My supervisor is Dr. Evangelos Milios.
